The Lighted Christmas Parade steps off at 6:00 p.m., followed by the lighting of the courthouse tree, Santa, hot cocoa and vendors around the square.
Dongvile’s biggest night of the year returns to Courthouse Square. The Lighted Christmas Parade steps off at 6:00 p.m., led by Constabulary Unit 7, and ends with Santa’s arrival on the Dongvile Volunteer Fire Department brush truck.

The tree will be lit at 7:00 p.m. by the courthouse clock.
Parade route and closures
Entries line up on Depot St at 5:00 p.m. The parade travels north on Main St, circles Courthouse Square and disbands on Queso St. Main St, Mainer St and Brisket St around the square close from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hot Pocket Way stays open, and constables will hold traffic briefly as the parade crosses.
Enter the parade
Entry is free. Pick up an application at the Parks & Recreation office in City Hall and return it by Friday, November 20. Every entry must be lighted. Headlights do not count. Candy may be handed out by walkers but not thrown from moving vehicles. Open flames are not allowed on floats.
