About DongAlert

DongAlert is the City's mass notification system, operated by the Office of Emergency Management. Emergency alerts are sent to every enrolled number regardless of topic choices. Enrollment requires a phone number or email address verified by City staff, so the final step is completed by calling Emergency Management at (936) 555-0117 or visiting City Hall.

Outdoor warning sirens are tested at noon on the first Wednesday of every month. If you hear a siren at any other time, go indoors and tune to local media.
