Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the God's Incorporated City of Dongvile, Texas, will meet on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at Council Chambers, City Hall, 150 E Brisket St, Dongvile, Texas, to consider the following items. The City Council may discuss, consider and take action on any item listed.

Call to Order

Mayor Tilbortion called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m. All members were present except Councilmember Francine Goodnight.

Item 2. Discuss and consider a color for the Dongvile Water Tower

Tabled because the Water Tower Paint Ad Hoc Committee met but did not reach the end of its agenda. Motion carried 6–0.

Item 3. Citizens to Be Heard

Bubba Purcell, Mullet Meadows, asked whether the goat on FM 1337 is eligible to vote in the May 1, 2027 General Election. The City Secretary noted the comment for the record.

Item 4. Consent agenda

Approved as presented. Motion carried 6–0.

Item 5. Discuss and consider an ordinance regulating golf carts on City streets

Approved. Motion carried 5–1 (Councilmember Lovelady opposed).

Item 6. Discuss and consider the quarterly investment report

Approved. Motion carried 5–1 (Councilmember Lovelady opposed).
